Climate catastrophe? A half a degree warming could make the difference

A study presented in Vienna today at the European Geophysical Union’s annual meeting, provides new evidence that reducing the threshold of global warming just half a degree, to 1.5°C, can limit catastrophic droughts and slow sea level rise.
